Technical specifications of pressure differential regulators

DN of the regulator — nominal diameter of the opening in the connecting flanges. The DN value is used to standardize the sizes of pipeline valves. The actual diameter of the opening may slightly differ from the nominal size in either direction.

PN of the regulator — nominal pressure, the maximum excess pressure of the working medium at a temperature of 20°C, which ensures long-term and safe operation.

Kvs of the regulator — flow coefficient corresponds to the flow rate of water, in m³/h at a temperature of 20°C, at which the pressure drop at the regulator will be 1 bar. The value of the flow coefficient is used in hydraulic calculations to determine pressure losses.

Adjustment range — the range of pressure differences supported by the valve depends on the elasticity of the spring (actuator force).
