Strainer mesh

Strainer mesh - designed for coarse mechanical cleaning of the working environment from solid impurities. Filtration of the flow occurs through a mesh with a fixed cell size. Mechanical inclusions in the working environment that exceed the size of the filter element cell cannot pass through the mesh and settle in the bowl.

Working Environments

Mesh filters are installed on pipelines transporting water, steam, and compressed air with a wide range of working pressures and temperatures. All filters that you will find in our catalog can be used for water, the possibility of using with other working environments should be clarified with suppliers.

Field of Application

The installation location of the filter is determined either by regulatory requirements or by technological process conditions. In heating and water supply systems of buildings, a mesh filter should be installed before:

• Pumps
• Water meters
• Heat meters
• Regulating fittings
• Heat exchangers
• Throttle devices
• Accumulator tanks and storage water heaters
• At the input of the heating network
• At the input of the water supply network
• At the outlet from the heating system

It is allowed not to install a mesh filter if another filter is already installed on the same pipeline at a distance of less than 12 meters.
