Technical specifications of expansion tanks

Pressure of the Gas Chamber of the Expansion Tank

Initial Pressure of the Gas Chamber - the excess pressure in the gas chamber of the expansion tank at the time of its delivery. Depending on the operating conditions, the pressure in the gas chamber can be increased using an automotive compressor or decreased by releasing gas through the nipple.

Maximum Pressure of the Expansion Tank

Maximum Pressure - the maximum excess pressure in the expansion tank at which long-term trouble-free operation is guaranteed. The set pressure of the safety valve installed near the expansion tank must be less than or equal to the maximum pressure.

Expansion Tank Volume - the volume of the inner cavity divided by a sealed elastic membrane into two parts. The volume of water stored in the tank is always less than the volume of the tank, as one part is always filled with gas.

DN - nominal diameter of the connecting nozzle.
