Technical specifications of the expansion vessel

Initial pressure of the gas space - the excess pressure in the gas cavity of the expansion vessel at the time of its delivery. Depending on the operating conditions, the pressure of the gas space can be increased with the help of a car compressor or decreased by releasing gas through the nipple.

Maximum pressure - the maximum excess pressure in the expansion vessel, at which long-term trouble-free operation is guaranteed.

Volume of the expansion vessel - the volume of the internal cavity divided by a sealed elastic membrane into two parts. It should be noted that the stored volume of water in the expansion vessel usually constitutes 40-50% of the tank volume.

Maximum pressure in the water supply system - the maximum excess pressure in the water supply system, limited by the strength of the system elements or the condition of noiseless operation of the water intake fittings. Pump control automation is set to turn off at this pressure.

Minimum pressure in the water supply system - the minimum excess pressure in the water supply system, determined by the height of the water supply system and the minimum excess pressure at the upper water intake point. Pump control automation is set to turn on at this pressure.
