Flanged check valve

Flanged check valve - is a protective pipeline direct-acting fitting that allows flow in one direction.

The passage section in the check valve is automatically closed by the weight of the disc, the force of the spring, or the lever-loading mechanism. Depending on the flow direction, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet nozzles of the valve overcomes the retaining force of the disc and opens the passage, or conversely, further presses the disc against the seat.

Working environments

Flanged check valves are installed on pipelines transporting water, steam, compressed air, sewage, and viscous fluids. All check valves that you will find in our catalog can be used for water, the possibility of using with other environments should be clarified with suppliers.

Application area

The installation locations of check valves are determined by regulatory requirements or according to the conditions of the technological process. In engineering systems of buildings, the check valve should be installed:

• On the pressure pipeline of each of the parallel pumps.
• On the water pipeline after each water meter.
• On the bridge between the supply and return pipelines in the heating point connected in a dependent scheme with mixing of the coolant.
